About Dr. Das
Dr. Kausik Das graduated from Calcutta, India and has gained an MD in gynaecology. He received specialist training in Wessex and the West Midlands. He has worked as a clinical research fellow in Minimal Access Surgery, which led to an accreditation in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He also received a Diploma in Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery from the University of Auvergne in France.
He is a consultant gynaecologist at West Midlands Gynaecology Clinic, and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer of the University of Birmingham. He has received the prestigious Alan Gordon Travelling Fellowship from the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) in 2014. He also received a second travelling fellowship for laparoscopic surgery in France in 2018.
